The Amazing Spiderman 2 - Let's Go Catch A Spider

Gala Premiere
Singapore
April 2014

After weeks of anxious waiting, Merlion Wayfarer finally sat down to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2...

"Let's go catch a spider..." - Electro -

With this quote, a friendship between Electro and  Harry Osborne was sparked.

The partnership between the two was a collaboration formed to destroy a common nemesis - Spiderman.

"We have plans for you, Peter Parker..."

Who is Spiderman?

The Amazing Spiderman 2 goes a step deeper to find out the origins behind Peter Parker's parentage.

"R.P." were the initials of the bag that Peter Parker has - his only memento from his parents who left him behind in a rush on a rainy evening with Aunt May and Uncle Ben.

And R.P. is...

"You're Spider-Man, and I love that. But I love Peter Parker more"
- Gwen Stacy -

The chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone is unmistakeably magnetic. After all, they are reel and real life lovers.

"I know we all think we're immortal. And we should feel that way. We're graduating.
The future is and should be bright. But like our brief four years in high school,
what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever..."
- Gwen Stacy, graduation speech -

Are they fated to remain together in love?

"Everyday I wake up knowing that no matter how many lives I protect, no matter how many people call me a hero, someone even more powerful could change everything..."
- Peter Parker -

Thank you for the opportunity to attend the Gala Premiere...

Romancing U - Bonding Under The Stars

The Promontory @ Marina Bay
South, Singapore
19 April 2014

It was a special evening at Romancing U by the scenic Marina Bay Waterfront...

The programme for the night...

Weather was good but the field was bare and muddy in certain spots, probably from too much trampling, and the rain earlier. There were about a dozen booths altogether with couple shots, complimentary snacks and arts and crafts. Busy throughout, these booths offered the dating couples a chance to bond together through common activities.

Photogenic moments at the three types of couple shots - LED blinking balloons,
sparklers, and a white vintage car...

Bonding through craft with your special one...

For more food options, there was Kerbside Gourmet, with its friendly and upbeat staff...

Queuing to ride the Love Boat where a guide takes the couples
for a short walk along the bay before ascending the waiting boats...

Snuggle together to watch Midnight In Paris under the stars...

Thank you for the romance, U Family...

Good Evening, Mr Lee

Singapore
April 2014

On a warm evening in a park last weekend, Mr Lee was out on a buggy ride, relaxing in the evening breeze, the light-hearted atmosphere, the harmony of people of many nationalities enjoying the greenery, and the cohesiveness of families picnicking on the grass patches.

It's certainly good to see you, Mr Lee!
